Skyward was established during a transformative moment when a son successfully assisted his parents in selling their 40-year-old roofing business to a national roofing platform, managed by one of the fastest-growing private equity firms in the United States. This noteworthy transition not only represented the culmination of decades of dedication and hard work but also ignited a passion for aiding founders and families in navigating the next chapter of their businesses.

The name "Skyward" is inspired by the ski trail situated at the summit of Whiteface Mountain, located near Lake Placid, New York. As one gazes down the steep headwall of the tallest ski resort in the northeastern United States, feelings of uncertainty begin to emerge. However, one turn at a time, with confidence and precision, you can make your way down the challenging slope. Before long you find yourself relaxing in the main lodge, proudly looking back up at the steep precipice you have successfully conquered.
